Iqrar ul Hassan issues video statement after attacked by Peer Haq Khateeb's followers in Gujranwala

Pakistani television host and journalist Iqrar ul Hassan has been attacked by followers of Peer Haq Khateeb, who claims to be a spiritual leader, near a university in Gujranwala.

Yesterday, a group, including women, allegedly attacked Iqrar ul Hassan’s car in Gujranwala and threw acid on the car as well as stones and wooden sticks to break the windscreen of the car.

They attacked him at the university’s gate, where Hassan had been invited for a ceremony that was planned many days ago.

Iqrar ul Hassan has shared the videos of the attack in his message on YouTube.

The windscreen of his car completely shattered while Iqrarul Hassan and some of his team members sustained minor injuries in the incident.

Iqrar Ul Hassan Attacked In Gujranwala

In his video message, and gave a detailed statement regarding the whole scene and talked confidently about Haq Khateeb and said when he exposed him and his wrongdoings, he was against him.

Iqrar also said if he died during these days, Haq Khateeb would be the reason and only a case should be registered against him.

Moreover, Iqrar said Haq Khateeb's people opened the door of his car but the security guards of the university played their role, closed the door, and helped him enter the university with protection.

Still, after he entered the university, the attackers were raising slogans "Haq Khateeb Zindabad, Iqrar-ul-Hasan Murdabad".

He also said that the public is with him and he received much love and respect from the university administration and students.

Iqrar urged the government to take notice of Haq Khateeb and the public to be aware of him and his frauds as he is involved in wrongdoings and cheats on everyone.

He is also involved in women's harassment and so on.
