Cheap tactics won’t silence me, Momina Iqbal hits back

Pakistani actress Momina Iqbal has sparked intense debate across social media after sharing a powerful Instagram Story addressing an ongoing harassment and cyberbullying controversy allegedly involving a political figure.

The actress issued a fiery statement, making it clear that she is ready to fight this battle till the very end and expose what she described as “baseless allegations” and “character assassination campaigns” launched against her.

Sharing a black-and-white portrait of herself on Instagram, Momina wrote that she neither needed fame nor financial gain from the matter because she already belongs to the media industry.

She stressed that her battle is purely for her rights and dignity, adding that she chose to stand up for herself instead of becoming another silent victim crushed by pressure and harassment.

In her emotional statement, the actress revealed that she had been facing continuous mental pressure and intimidation. She pointed out how people often begin supporting victims only after a tragedy occurs, saying that campaigns are usually run after someone is pushed toward suicide or death.

However, she declared that she chose to fight for herself while still alive and strong.

Momina further claimed that the accused party attempted to divert public attention by spreading false narratives about money and launching personal attacks against her character.

Calling such actions “cheap tactics,” she maintained that she was fully prepared for the backlash and would continue her legal battle regardless of the pressure.

The actress also urged the public not to jump to conclusions before hearing her complete version of events. According to her statement, she plans to hold an official press conference where she will present every allegation with proper evidence instead of making emotional or unsupported claims.

She emphasized that she would not make any accusation without proof.

The most shocking part of her Instagram Story was the bold Urdu quote written at the bottom of the post. Translated into English, the statement read: “I have built my respect through years of hard work, not by repeatedly selling the kidneys of poor people.”

The statement appeared to hint at allegations linked to illegal organ trade and the exploitation of poor people, making the controversy even more explosive online.

Reports circulating in Pakistani media claim that Momina Iqbal has formally approached the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) in Lahore regarding alleged online harassment, cyberbullying, and threats.

The matter reportedly gained further attention after Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif allegedly ordered authorities to conduct a transparent investigation without political influence.

As the controversy continues to dominate headlines and social media discussions, attention is now focused on Momina Iqbal’s expected press conference, where the actress says she will publicly present evidence supporting her claims.
