Dengue claims three lives in Karachi, two in Lahore

The dengue fever claimed five lives in Sindh and Punjab including three in Karachi and two in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.
In Karachi, three persons who died from dengue fever were belonged to Karachi’s District Central, Korangi and Malir. Another 47 people were also infected from the dengue virus in Karachi.
In Punjab, another 92 cases were reported including 70 dengue fever cases in provincial capital Lahore, six in Gujranwala, three cases each in Kasur and Rawalpindi.
The total number of dengue patients in Punjab rose to 23, 687.
Punjab Health Department teams discarded dengue larva from 295 indoor and outdoor areas in Lahore.
In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), 91 people were infected from dengue fever.
In Islamabad, seven people were infected from dengue virus. It means the ratio of dengue cases in capital city has been diminished.
