The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Tuesday adjourned the hearing of the contempt of election commission case against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan till December 13 next, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A four-member ECP bench chaired the hearing of the case under the chairmanship of Sindh Member Nisar Durrani.

Faisal Chaudhry Advocate appeared before the ECP bench on behalf of Imran Khan and Fawad Chaudhry.

“Imran Khan was injured in a gun attack. He should be given some time,” Faisal Chaudhry pleaded with the ECP bench.

“Fawad Chaudhry is suffering from dengue fever and should be given fifteen days,” he added.

The PTI also submitted a petition to the ECP bench for exemption of both the party leaders from attendance.

The ECP then adjourned the hearing of the case till December 13 next.
