Young girl commits suicide due to cheating husband in Lahore

A heartbroken young girl committed suicide after utterly disappointed to discover that her husband was keeping contact with his former wife in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

The incident took place in the Chung area of Lahore. Police said the husband of Rehana Jaffar was in contact with his first wife after marrying her.

Police shifted the dead body of the young girl to the local hospital mortuary for autopsy.

Killer arrested 

In another incident, Lahore police, after hectic efforts of 12 hours, arrested the killer Fayyaz, who murdered a property dealer Iqbal Gujjar.

Deputy Inspector-General of Police (DIG) Operations Faisal Kamran after taking notice of the incident, constituted a special team headed by SP Saddar Rana Hussain Tahir.

The SHO Chung Police Station arrested the accused and recovered the weapon used in the murder.

Late Iqbal Gujjar was the Chairman of the Peace Committee. DIG Faisal Kamran said that the accused killed Iqbal Gujjar due to a property dispute.

He lauded the police team for taking measures to arrest the murderer.
