ANF intel team seizes 21kg heroin, 2kg ICE

The intelligence officials of Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) on Thursday foiled an attempt to smuggle drugs worth Rs150 million in Peshawar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The ANF officials also arrested two smugglers and recovered 21 kg heroin and two kilos of ICE from their possession.
Acting on a tip-off, the ANF team apprehended a Japanese Alto car, having registration number APL-020/Islamabad near Tarnab CNG, Tarnab Farm in Peshawar and arrested two smugglers, namely Said Amin s/o Niazmin Shah r/o Jamrud, Khyber (driver) and Kabul Khan s/o Akbar Khan r/o Jamrud, Khyber (2nd seater).
During the detailed search of the car, the ANF officials recovered a total of 21 kg heroin and two kg ICE from the rear area (spare tyre area) of the vehicle.
It is pertinent to mention that the accused were linked with inter-provincial DTO use to supply drugs from Jamrud to different cities of Punjab.
