Sarah Inam murder case: Sameena Shah sent on judicial remand

The court has sent accused Sameena Shah on judicial remand in the Sarah Inam murder case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Police on Saturday produced accused Sameena Shah who is mother of Shahnawaz Amir, the prime suspect in the Sarah Inam murder case, before a local court in Islamabad after completion of her two-day physical remand.
The case was heard in the court of Judge Amir Aziz.
The police requested the court to send the accused on judicial remand.
On Oct 19, Sameena Shah, wife of journalist Ayaz Amir, was taken into custody from outside the sessions court after the judge dismissed her pre-arrest bail.
She was initially granted interim bail on September 26, three days after police arrested Shahnawaz for allegedly killing his Canadian national wife.
A local court in Islamabad on Sept 24 issued arrest warrants for the father and mother of Shahnawaz Amir who allegedly murdered his Canadian wife with a dumbbell at a farmhouse in Shahzad Town after a row over a "family issue". While Ayaz was discharged from the case, but Sameena has been facing trial.
At the time of murder, Shahnawaz was living along with Sameena in the farmhouse. She informed the police that her son had murdered Sarah whose body police recovered later.
