HEC changes Computer Science syllabus

Higher Education Commission (HEC) has changed Computer Science syllabus, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Wednesday.
The new curriculum 2025 was developed with the help of British Council, various ministries, educational institutions, industry partners and key stakeholders.
The BS Computer Science programme has been designed in line with international standards and market needs.
The updated syllabus includes 14 subjects AI, data science, cyber security, software engineering, robotics, quantum computing, professional certification and industry-linked final projects.
The initiative was taken to produce industry-ready computing graduates and advance Pakistan’s digital education ecosystem.
