FESCO privatization not accepted, says Wapda union

In order to protest against the decision of privatization of Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO), the All Pakistan WAPDA Hydro Electric Worker Union held a rally on Wednesday in Faisalabad, reported 24NewsHD TV. 

A large number of FESCO workers participated in the rally led by Chaudhry Sarfraz which started from Labor Hall to Abdullah Bridge.

The chairman of the Hydro-Electric Worker Union said; “The privatization of the companies is against the national interest”. He empahsised for providing facilitation to the employees rather than privatization.

Moreover, participants in the rally chanted slogans of ‘not acceptable’ against the privatization of the electric company.
