The federal government has made a plan of giving a subsidy on the seeds and fertilizers to the farmers of flood-hit areas across the country.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the government will provide subsidized assistance on a cost-sharing basis with the provinces for the upcoming rabi season.
The channel report said that the proposed subsidy on seeds and fertilizers might be presented to the federal cabinet soon.
As per the subsidy plan of the federal government, one bag of wheat and edible oil seeds will be given to every flood-hit farmer.
While the farmers of the flood-hit areas will also be provided with one bag of fertilizer per acre piece of land.
