Pakistani comedian Sohail Ahmed has acted in an Indian Punjabi film ‘Babe Bhangra Paunde Ne’, along with Sargun Mehta and Diljit Dosanj.

The film's teaser reveals that Diljit and his friends come up with the profitable plan of adopting a father and taking over his firm after his passing away using the proceeds from an insurance policy.  By providing information on the health of her patients, Sargun Mehta, a worker at an old age home, joins Diljit's scheme.

Sohail Ahmed plays the father. The surprise is that things don't go as planned since Sohail Ahmed's health is seemed to be getting better while they are trying their best to keep him alive until the policy is active, which would take 25 days.

The movie was filmed in the United States. Amarjit Singh Saron is the director, and Daljit Thind and Diljit Dosanjh are the producers.

After the 2016 URI attack, tensions between India and Pakistan deteriorated. As a result, India prohibited Pakistani actors from acting there until things were normalized. In a similar vein, Pakistan has outlawed the screening of Indian dramas and films within its borders.

Sohail Ahmed's most recent appearances were in the drama "Chaudhry and Sons" and the film "London Nahi Jaunga." It will be fascinating to watch him perform among other well-known actors.
