Sindh Covid-19 lab to conduct 800 tests a day

Sindh government Spokesman Senator Murtaza Wahab on Thursday announced that the provincial government has established a Covid-19 laboratory at the Karachi University with a capacity to conduct 800 tests every day.
In a tweet, Wahab said, “#SindhGovt has established a #COVIDー19 laboratory at the International Center for Chemical and Biological Research, Karachi University. It has become functional from today with a capacity of 800 tests a day.”

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country jumped to 10,552 after 49 new infections were reported during the past 24 hours. There are 223 deaths reported in Pakistan with four new deaths during the past 24 hours. There are 3389 confirmed coronavirus cases in Sindh.
