Rs10m released for Punjab CM Office renovation

A fund to the tune of Rs10 million has been released on the urgent basis for the renovation of Punjab Chief Minister Office in Civil Secretariat, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Reportedly, the Punjab Finance Department has released Rs10 million for the face-lift of the CM Office established in the Civil Secretariat Lahore. 

The earlier estimation for the renovation of the office was Rs50 million. But the provincial government earmarked Rs20 million fund for this purpose. 

The Punjab Finance Department today released Rs10 million of the sanctioned fund. 

The CM Office at Civil Secretariat renovation plan was made during the Usman Buzdar government. 

It bears mentioning that only chief minister’s staff uses the Civil Secretariat office.
