ECP approves papers of Rana Sana, Salma Ijaz and Ahmed Shehryar for Senate by-election
The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has completed the scrutiny of nomination papers for the by-election on Senate general seat and released the official list of candidates whose nomination papers were accepted, reported 24NewHD Channel.
According to ECP officials, nomination papers of Rana Sanaullah Khan, Salma Ijaz and Ahmed Shehryar, were approved by the Election Commission.
However, the candidates have the option to withdraw their nomination papers by August 30. The voting for the by-election will be held on September 9 from 9am to 4 pm in the Punjab Assembly.
