Several flights at Faisalabad International Airport were affected by dense fog on Monday, causing inconvenience to passengers and airlines, reported 24NewsHd TV channel.

According to airport sources, flight G9 562 coming from Sharjah to Faisalabad could not get permission to land due to poor visibility and was diverted to Lahore Airport. Similarly, flight G9 563 from Faisalabad to Sharjah could not take off due to fog and was delayed for several hours.

Another flight, FZ 392 from Faisalabad to Dubai, was also rescheduled after five hours of waiting. The airport authorities said that the flight operations would resume once the weather conditions improve.
