CTD arrests member of banned Sipah-e-Sahaba from Sahiwal

Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested a member of the banned religious party Sipah-e-Sahaba from Sahiwal and recovered currency and hate material from his possession, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to details, the Counter Terrorism Department of Sahiwal, after receiving comprehensive information about the presence of a member of a banned religious party, conducted an operation.

The accused was later identified as Mohammad Nadir, who is a resident of Bahawalpur.

The accused was distributing hateful material and pamphlets against the Shia community after generating funds. He was also inviting people to join his organization.

The Counter Terrorism Department team, after registering a case against the accused, started an investigation.
