While criticizing the dismal economic performance of the government, PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif, who is nowadays in London, has said that nation and the country have to pay for the economic incompetence of the rulers.

In a statement on Sunday, Shehbaz said: “If the rulers continue to run the economy like this, there will be nothing left but remorse.”

Recalling Imran Khan’s policy of announcing millions of jobs, the younger Sharif said that by giving the bait of 10 million jobs, the government snatched the jobs of millions of those employed.

He said that the addition of another Rs12,000 billion to the debt is a worrying sign, adding “the nation has to act decisively to prevent the economy from collapsing.” Shehbaz said the country needs a “national unity”.

“The nation has now witnessed that the abusive language is not enough to run the country,” said the opposition leader.
