PTI to accept ECP's decision on Daska by-election: Shibli
Says offer of repolling in 20 polling stations manifestation of PM’s struggle for transparency
Talking to the newsmen in Islamabad on Tuesday, Shibli Faraz said the PML-N disturbed law and order in the recent by-elections.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan had made an important announcement on the PML-N's application for repolling in 23 polling stations of NA-75. He said Imran Khan has always accepted challenges,” the federal minister emphasised.
Shibli said the government wanted that electronic voting is introduced in the next general elections.
He further said people know the designs of those who are opposing open ballot in the upcoming Senate elections. He said those who promoted corruption wanted Senate elections through a secret vote. He said the politics of the PML-N and the PPP is based on lies.
Meanwhile, in a tweet uploaded on Tuesday, Shibli Faraz said Prime Minister Imran Khan’s offer of repolling at 20 polling stations in NA-75 was manifestation of his struggle to ensure free and fair elections.
The minister said that those who point fingers at his generosity are, in fact, opposing transparency and the open ballot in the electoral process. He said that the duplicity of the prime minister’s opponents has been exposed to the nation.
