Panic gripped the residents of Abbottabad after a wild leopard entered the Dakhan Tatrila locality of the city on Thursday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Panic-stricken people confined themselves inside their homes as the leopard was still on the loose. 

On the other hand, the wildlife department officials failed to reach the spot despite getting information even after four hours. 

Locals reported it a very common sight as three days ago, three people were injured in an assault by a wild animal. 

It merits here to mention that incidents of this nature are frequently recorded in Pakistan. A few days ago, a leopard entered in a posh residential area of Islamabad, injuring three locals and triggering panic among residents.
