M-11 Motorway closed for traffic

The Lahore–Sialkot Motorway (M-11) has been closed for traffic due to dense fog, according to Motorway Police officials.

Central Region spokesperson Syed Imran Ahmed said that the motorway has been shut down in order to save people's lives, as foggy conditions can prove to be extremely dangerous for driving.

He appealed to citizens to avoid unnecessary travel during foggy weather and prioritize their safety. Motorway Police have advised commuters to prefer travelling during daytime, as visibility remains relatively better.

The spokesperson stated that the safest time for travel in such weather conditions is between 10am and 6pm to minimize the risk of accidents caused by low visibility.
