Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Friday that the people of Kashmir would decide their fate by themselves through a referendum, reported 24News HD TV channel.

Addressing a public gathering in Tarar Khal as part of the election campaign, the PM promised the people of Kashmir that his government would hold a referendum in which they could choose to become an independent state if they wish.

He said the main focus of his party was to uplift the underprivileged people by providing them education, health, and subsidized food in AJK.

The PM said his government would launch special programmes for the low-income classes in AJK after winning the upcoming election. He said for the 40 percent of the poor population, the ration cards for food items on subsidized rates would be introduced.

Criticizing the PML-N and PPP, Prime Minister Imran Khan that foreign agencies pressurized Benazir Bhutto for compromise with General Pervez Musharraf.

Imran Khan said that it was a difficult time in Occupied Kashmir right now but in But India would be in difficulty because the passion of Kashmiris for freedom would not go down. “There, the Kashmiris will struggle, and here I, the ambassador, of Kashmir will highlight the Kashmir issue at every forum,” the PM said.

Imran Khan said the leadership of two parties (the PPP and PML-N) was coming to you for the vote. “You should ask them what they have done for the betterment of the people and Kashmir,” the premier said.

He said, “The RSS took the ideology of Nazi Germany. This is the ideology when you don’t think that the other people are equal to you.”

“I ask you how many times Asif Ali Zardari or Nawaz Sharif talked about the RSS and how much time they raised their voice in this regard,” he questioned.

Giving reference to a book The Way of the World authored by author Ron Suskind, the PM said, “He wrote that Benazir Bhutto was telling his son that how much money she has in foreign banks by telephone.” He said the foreign agencies were recording the conversation and these agencies made the compromise between her and Pervez Musharraf.

He said when someone had money in foreign banks, the foreign agencies blackmail him. “So, they pressurized PPP and made the compromise happened at the time when there was lawyer movement and we all had boycotted the election. We boycotted the election but the PPP and Nawaz Sharif contested the 2008 election on ‘foreign orders’, he said.

The PM said Nawaz Sharif wanted friendship with Modi so he could help him save his money which was in foreign banks.

He said during the time of these both governments (the PPP and PML-N), our ally, the United States, used to carry out drone attacks and they (N league and PPP) just superficially condemned while from inside they had allowed the drone attacks.

“Why the US does not do it now when I am here?” he questioned.

Their loyalty is not with the country but with their money, the PM further said. “Have you ever heard Zardari or Nawaz talking about the brutalities of Israel,” he said, adding that they would never talk about it because they have interests out there.

He asked the people, “You have to vote the day after tomorrow, just remember you have to change your future with your vote. We raised the tourism in KP many folds from 2013 to 2018 and we will do the same here which will bring prosperity for the people of AJK,” he added.

The PPP and PML-N have started talking about rigging. “This is strange when there is your government, and your election commission,” he added.
