Indian Karan Aujla cheers Pakistani audience in concert amidst tension between countries
Popular Indian rapper and singer Karan Aujla wholeheartedly welcomed Pakistani audiences in his overseas concert despite the ongoing tension between the countries India and Pakistan following the Pahalgam attack. Acknowledging Pakistani people in the music show, the singer proclaimed: “We are the same, we are one.”
An attention-grabbing video from Karan Aujla's latest concert has popped up on social media, featuring the singer offering his enthralling renditions, leaving the crowed thrilled and cheering with joy during the concert: however, it was his incredible gesture of expressing unity and brotherhood towards Pakistani audiences on stage which met with applause and appreciation from fans on both sides.
The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has issued a blanket ban on Pakistani artists, musicians, and actors from performing in India after the tragic attack in Indian Illegally Occupied Kashmir’s Pahalgam, claiming 24 tourists dead. Social media accounts of Pakistani stars were also restricted in India.
After months of the ban, Indian audiences found some accounts of Pakistani stars accessible in the country.
However, just after a few hours, the Indian government has reimposed a ban on Pakistani stars' social media accounts and entertainment channels. Disclosing the reason for temporarily unblocking the accounts, the official cited a ‘technical glitch.’
