Jannat Mirza on rejecting Bollywood film opposite Kartik Aaryan

Pakistani TikToker Jannat Mirza has made headlines after claiming that she received an offer to star in a Bollywood film alongside Indian heartthrob Kartik Aaryan. However, she said she turned out the movie because her parents didn't allow her.

According to an entertainment portal, the social media sensation revealed that she was approached for a lead role in an upcoming Bollywood project featuring Kartik Aaryan.
Jannat Mirza’s claim comes at a time when Hania Amir starrer Sardaar Ji 3 created history by surpassing the Rs300 million mark at the Pakistani box office, overtaking Carry On Jatta 3 to become the highest-grossing Indian Punjabi film in the country.

Jannat Mirza, who enjoys a massive following on TikTok and Instagram, has already made a mark in the Pakistani entertainment industry.
She made her acting debut in the film Tere Bajre Di Rakhi  but the film failed to perform well at the box office.
Since then, she has shifted her focus to modeling and social media.

In an interview, Mirza explained that her choice of TikTok over cinema was based on the changing preferences of today’s youth.
"Young people today prefer to scroll through TikTok from the comfort of their homes, where they can watch me anytime they want."
According to her, she believed that cinema didn’t appeal to the younger generation, as they would rather use their mobile phones at home.
Especially considering the high cost of cinema tickets, which many people cannot afford for their whole family.
Mirza’s insights reflect the ongoing shift in entertainment consumption, where platforms like TikTok are taking precedence over traditional mediums like cinema, particularly among younger audiences.
