Management position scale policy released

The Establishment Division released the management position scale policy after the approval of Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday.

Under the policy, the posting of government officials on management position is banned. On the positions of MP-I, MP-II and MP-III, services will be sought from private sectors while officials will be eligible after resignation or golden handshake.

Under the policy, the management position officers can face a reference on corruption charges and they will have to submit an affidavit on clash of interest to the government.

Officials can be removed from the management position for showing poor performance and such a person won’t be reinstated as the Establishment Division will prepare a charge sheet.

Management position scale is special salary package and perquisites given to the officers working in public department on a contract basis or special assignment.
