Parliamentary leader of the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) in Balochistan Assembly and Provincial Education Minister Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind has announced to resign from the ministry, reported 24News HD TV channel on Wednesday.

Talking during the Balochistan Assembly session, Yar Mohammad Rind said that he was not given a free hand to uplift the educational sector in the province. “I am warning on the floor of the assembly that if something happens to me or my family, Chief Minister Jam Kamal will be responsible,” he said, adding that he would present his resignation to the governor as soon as got out of the assembly. He said he had worked very hard for the betterment of the education sector in the province. He said his opponents were placed at the check posts on the roads leading to his area.

Referring to the rumpus in Balochistan Assembly during the budget session, Rind said that he felt sorry for what had happened during the budget session, adding that if the issue would have been resolved earlier, this kind of incident could have been avoided.

He said today the floor of the assembly was empty, questioning this was what we called democracy. He further said he wished the opposition would have been in the assembly.

He said nothing had been allocated for the development of his area in the Budget 2021-22.

He said there had been a record rigging in his area during the general elections, adding there had not been any fair and transparent election in history. He further said the people should be given the right to elect their ruler.
