Unusual protest staged against not fixing power transformer

In an unusual demonstration, dozens of students of a religious seminary staged a protest by taking classes at the Sukkur Electric Power Company (SEPCO) sub-division office, Noshero Feroz, reported 24News HD TV channel on Wednesday.

As per details, a power transformer has been out of order for the last three days which has not been changed by the SEPCO officials.

To register their protest in an unusual way, the students and teachers of Madrasa Islamia Arabia, carrying the Holy Quran with them, took their classes at the SEPCO sub-division office. They also prayed for the Wapda employees. Madrasa Islamia Arabia's principal said that if the transformer was not changed, hundreds of the students and teachers of the madrasa would take classes again at the SEPCO sub-division office tomorrow.
