Sindh CM Murad calls for identifying people hindering national unity 

Lamenting that even 80 years after the passage of the Pakistan resolution, there was a talk of lack of unity in the nation, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Sunday stressed the need for identifying those people who were creating hindrances in the way of the nation getting united, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.  

Speaking to the media at the mausoleum of the Father of the Nation Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Karachi, he said the period between 1977 and 1988 was the worst in the country’s history. 

Referring to Sindh Governor Kamran Tessori’s speech in which he had mentioned incidents of terrorism in Balochistan, the chief minister said it was high time the nation showed the resolve to work for national security.

Murad said that together everybody had to put the country on the path to progress. “Late prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (ZAB) made the country a nuclear power. We need the same vision today,” he asserted. 

He also called for unity in the Muslim Ummah so that they could together fight their enemies. “Every citizen should remain prepared to defend the country,” the chief minister emphasized.
