At the request of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PBC), the Civil Aviation Association (CAA) Sunday granted permission to Sri Lankan players to come to Pakistan for the PSL matches.

According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, the PCB applied for lifting the CAA ban on the PSL (Pakistan Super League) foreign players especially those who belonged to the C-Category countries during the third wave of Covid-19 across the world.

The CAA considered the PBC request and Air Transport Director Irfan Sabir issued notification of lifting the ban on 10 Lankan players.

Sri Lankan players would reach Karachi through a special flight of Qatar Airways and they would bound to follow the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) set by the Pakistani government.

After their arrival at Karachi, the Lankan players would move to Lahore and then left for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on May 26 on a chartered flight.
