Pakistani prison safe haven for Nawaz: Asad

Federal Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar offering former premier Nawaz Sharif to return to Pakistan, saying Pakistani prison is a safe haven for him, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.
Talking to the media in Sukkur where he landed for an official visit, the minister said ‘Mian Sahab’ (Nawaz Sharif) was staying abroad despite an opportunity to live in his own country safely.
He said he has a suggestion for Nawaz … if he has any life threat, come back to his motherland.
The PTI government will take care of the ex-premier if he returns, the minister said stressing the government would like to shift the former premier to the ‘safest place that is a jail in Pakistan.’
Asad Umar said they had no idea about Nawaz Sharif’s security in London. Talking about the opposition’s alliance – the PDM (Pakistan Democratic Movement), he said it had already ended so political chaos has been reduced in the country nowadays.
About Jahangir Tareen Group, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan couldn’t go against his principle stand so the law will take its course.
He was assured that Jahangir Tareen would become successful in his matter in any case if he did not do anything illegal.
He said that the parliamentarians belonging to the Tareen group had already declared that they were not against the PTI government.
Laying emphasis on getting corona vaccination administered, he said the government arranged millions of doses for all the Pakistanis so they should take doses of vaccination as it was the only way to fight against this epidemic across the world.
