Sindh closes educational institutes for an indefinite period

Keeping in view the severe situation of the coronavirus epidemic in the province, the Sindh government has announced the closure of all educational institutes for an indefinite period.
According to 24NewsHD TV Channel, the PPP government Sunday suspended the teaching process in all private and public educational institutions till further orders.
The Sindh Department of School Education issued a new notification directing 50 percent of the school staff including headmasters and headmistresses and teachers would be required to be present on a daily basis and would continue online classes. As per the directions, the educational process would continue through Microsoft, Email, WhatsApp, and other alternative means.
The notification said that all the private and public educational institutes would be bound to complete the courses under the syllabus as well as corona vaccination would be compulsory in all private and public schools. Earlier, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah on Sunday announced to extend all the lockdown restrictions for two more weeks amid a surge of COVID-19 cases in the province. He also urged people to follow SOPs and get vaccinated to save themselves from the COVID-19 pandemic.
