A fire has broken out in the forests of Baz Garh, a sub-division of Bara tehsil of Khyber district, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to Rescue 1122, the cause has not been ascertained yet behind the eruption of the fire which is spreading fast in the forests spread over the mountains.

On the orders of Rescue 1122 Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Director General Dr Khatir Ahmed, and on special directions of District Emergency Officer Syed Shoaib Mansoor, rescue teams rushed to the spot as soon as the eruption of fire was reported in the area.

The Rescue 1122 teams, along with locals and the officials of other departments, are busy putting out the fire which is however yet to be overcome, for the wind and flames are causing the fire to spread fast.

Rescue 1122 teams, headed by District Emergency Officer Syed Shoaib Mansoor, will continue the firefighting operation, said the official sources.
