Naeem Bukhari appointed PTV Chairman

The federal government on Monday appointed Naeem Bukhari as Pakistan Television Corporation (PTV) Chairman for a period of three years, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Bukhari has also been appointed as Independent Board of Directors Pakistan Television (PTV). Prime Minister Imran Khan directed to reappoint the old board members of PTV who had shown excellent performance in the past.
“Pursuant to the provision of Section-166 of the Companies Act, 2017, the federal government is pleased to appoint Naeem Bukhari as Independent Director of Pakistan Television Corporation Board,” said the notification issued by the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Naeem Bukhari is a lawyer and a television host as well. He was born in Lahore. He is the younger brother of Pakistani fast bowler Saleem Altaf Bokhari. He graduated from Government College University, Lahore and later he studied law. Bukhari joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on June 18, 2016.
