PM for NCC meeting on anti-corona strategy

Prime Minister Imran Khan has stressed the need for utilising all resources to save lives from the deadly coronavirus and enforce protective measures for the purpose.
Chairing a meeting to review the situation arisen in the second wave of Covid-19 on Monday, the premier issued directives to call a meeting of the National Coordination Committee to take timely decisions and devise a comprehensive strategy to stem the spread of the pandemic.
Imran Khan stressed the need for balancing between life and livelihood as well as seriousness to cope with the challenge of coronavirus resurgence. The premier was briefed about the NCOC strategy to cope with the challenge and the capacity of public sector hospitals across the country.
He called for timely decisions so that the spread of deadly pandemic could be stemmed. The key ministers including Khusro Bakhtiyar, Shafqat Mehmood, Hamad Azha and Shibli Faraz, Ejaz Shah and Asad Umer while PM aides including Sania Nishtar and Faisal Sultan attended the meeting.
