Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Ali Amin Gandapur has approached the Islamabad High Court for quashing cases against him, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.
Ali Amin Gandapur applied for the dismissal of seven cases registered against him after the protest of PTI supporters against the Election Commission verdict on the Toshakhana reference.
He told the court that cases were registered in the federal capital police station. Provisions of terrorism and interference in government were imposed he said, denying any wrongdoings.
Last month, the PTI supporter took to the streets as the ECP declared the former prime minister disqualified in the Toshakhana reference. Reportedly, the angry activists damaged public property during the demos.
