Children busy fishing on the seashore in Daran hilly area have been buried in a mudslide, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Sunday 

One body has been retrieved while efforts to recover others are on. According to reports, on Sunday, children were busy fishing, in Daran near Jiwani 60km from Gwadar, when the incident took place.

A heavy contingent of Levies and police reached the spot and started a rescue operation. They managed to recover the body of one child by evening.

According to Assistant Deputy Commissioner Zakir Baloch, the rescue teams of the Pakistan Coast Guards and the Jiwani Police have also reached the scene.

He has expressed fear that many children have been buried under the debris. But he was unable to say how many children were fishing there when the landslide occurred. Boys often visit the coastal area on Sunday to enjoy fishing.
