Punjab CM Buzdar removes LWMC MD over poor cleanliness steps
Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Wednesday removed Lahore Solid Waste Management Company (LWMC) Managing Director from his post over the poor cleanliness situation in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Chief Minister said it is the responsibility of the LMWC to collect and dispose of garbage properly. Usman Buzdar was angry over the poor sanitation situation in the Lahore city and later decided to remove the top officer of the city’s waste collection company.
The Punjab Chief Minister said without clear instructions the situation has not been improved in the city. “Now there is no margin for negligence and only doers will remain in Punjab,” Usman Buzdar said.
