Army rescues schoolkids trapped in Leepa Valley

The Pakistan Army conducted a timely and successful rescue operation and brought the children of a private school trapped in Leepa Valley safely home, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday. 

The school children who had lost their way in the mountains late at night during a recreational tour. 

Parents of children of a private school in Leepa Valley reported that their children had lost their way in the mountains, upon which the local unit of the Pakistan Army immediately launched a rescue operation. 

This operation continued throughout the night and the soldiers of the Pakistan Army safely reached their homes through their vehicles. 

During the rescue, the children were also provided with food and drinks by the Pakistan Army. 

On this occasion, the school administration, children and the MD of the institution thanked the Commanding Officer and the entire team of the local unit of the Pakistan Army, and described this initiative as a wonderful example of public service and humanitarian compassion.
