Rabi-us-Sani moon not sighted in Pakistan

The Rabi-us-Sani moon was not sighted in Pakistan on Tuesday and now the first of Rabi-us-Sani will fall on Thursday (September 25).

The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee held its meeting in Islamabad to sight the moon of Rabi-us-Sani 1447 Hijri.

Chairman Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad presided over the meeting. Speaking at a press conference after the committee meeting, Azad said the moon of Rabi-us-Sani had not been sighted in any part of Pakistan. He said the first of Rabi-us-Sani would be observed across the country on Thursday (September 25).

Azad said the Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia was a great personality and his death had saddened the Muslim world. He said the Pakistan-Saudi Arabia defence agreement would defend the entire Muslim world. He said that protection of the Two Holy Mosques was part of every Muslim's faith.

Azad said the era of Israeli oppression was over and the world was recognizing Palestine as an independent state. He said that Muslims of Palestine and Gaza would be free soon. "We will offer prayers in Jerusalem soon," he added.
