The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has claimed to have nailed two terrorists in Sahiwal district of Punjab.

According to a spokesperson for the CTD, a special squad Monday foiled a terror bid as they arrested members of banned outfit Tehrik-i-Taliban.

The arrested had planned to unleash terror attacks on law enforcers, the official said, adding that the lawmen also recovered arms and ammunition as well as a huge quantity of explosive material from the detainees. Further investigation is underway.
