An officer of the Information Technology Ministry has been accused of blackmailing after raping a woman, 24News HD TV channel reported on Tuesday.

A woman called the police helpline 15 and registered a complaint of her rape from a government officer.

She told the police that the accused Nasir was appointed in IT Ministry as Deputy Manager had made some objectionable videos of her to blackmail and rape her.

The woman claimed that the officer was abusing her for a year and used his residential flat located in the I-XI sector in Karachi Company area of Islamabad. 

She said she had lost now her tolerance level so she called the police for her help against the influential government officer.

On the complaint of the woman, Karachi Company Police Station had registered a case of rape and blackmailing through objectionable video making against the government officer.
