Whole Sindh has become a river, says CM Murad
Says over 300 deaths reported in the province this monsoon season : Appeals to nation for help in this hour of need

Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah said on Wednesday that never ever in his life had he seen such devastating floods in the province which he was seeing this monsoon season as the whole province has become a "river", reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a press conference in Karachi, he said so far over 300 people had lost their lives in the province due to rains, while 10 million had been rendered homeless. “The fact is that entire Sindh has turned into a pool of water,” he said, adding still the provincial government was doing all it could to mitigate the sufferings of the people. “We are utilizing our resources in order to provide relief to the flood victims,” the chief minister claimed.
He informed that one million tents were urgently needed in the province. “Although we provide food to the flood-affected people. Still neither there is gas in the province nor fuel,” he said, and appealed to the entire nation to come up with their contributions.
