Lahore Ring Road Authority increases toll tax rates

The Lahore Ring Road Authority has increased toll tax rates for various categories of vehicles, with the revised charges coming into effect immediately, 24NewsHD TV reported on Wednesday.

According to the notification, the toll tax for cars and jeeps has been raised from Rs60 to Rs70.

The toll for Hiace vans, wagons, minibuses and coasters has been increased to Rs140, while bus toll charges have been revised upward to Rs350.

Similarly, the toll tax for loaders, pickups and dumpers up to two and three axles has been increased to Rs420.

For heavy vehicles with more than three axles, including loaders, trucks and trailers, the toll tax has been fixed at Rs700.

Officials said the new toll structure has been implemented with immediate effect across the Lahore Ring Road.
