Six killed due to speedy drivers in Sargodha, Faisalabad
Six people lost their lives in two road accidents in Sargodha and Faisalabad on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In the first accident in Sargodha, four people died on the spot when a speeding Hiace van crashed into a tree.
The incident took place Chakian area of Sargodha. The ill-fated van was going from Sargodha to Khushab.
The car crashed into a tree when the driver tried to save a vehicle that was coming from Khusbab.
Soon after the incident, rescue teams rushed to the spot and shifted the dead bodies to the local hospital for autopsy.
Two motorcyclists die in Faisalabad
Two people who were riding a motorcycle died when a speedy tractor-trailer crushed them to death in the jurisdiction of the Peoples Colony Police Station in Faisalabad on Wednesday morning.
The incident occurred near Jhal Bridge. Both motorcyclists were identified as Saleem and Nadeem.
The motorcyclists were going to the Mansoorabad area of Faisalabad. Soon after the incident, local police rushed to the site and shifted the dead persons to the hospital’s mortuary.
The driver of the tractor trolley escaped from the scene. Police started a search operation to apprehend the driver.
