A man shot dead her daughter named Shahnaz Bibi in Shalimar area of ​​Lahore for 'honour' on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Shahnaz Bibi’s father claimed that her daughter had an affair with a man named Zubair and he got infuriated after seeing her daughter with him.

He fired shots with a pistol killing Shahnaz Bibi on the spot and seriously injuring her male friend. 

The Shalimar police registered a case on the application of Shamim Akhtar, mother of the slain Shahnaz Bibi and arrested the accused father.

The Lahore police have launched an investigation into the matter.
