Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Mohsin Naqvi said on Friday that PTI had the right to protest, but the government had to ensure security for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) matches as well, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

He was speaking to the media after the opening of the Kalma Chowk underpass in Lahore. 

Praising the CBD Punjab and other departments for their hard work, which enabled opening of the underpass in just two and a half months, he said the CBD had achieved yet another milestone today. 

He further said that providing relief to the masses was his motto. “The opening of the underpass will ensure a smooth flow of traffic,” the CM said, adding, “The project will be completed on March 23, 2023.”
