Ahead of apex committee’s meeting, which is to be held today, Army Chief General Asim Munir called on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House on Friday afternoon, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Quoting its sources, the TV channel reported that the law and order situation was discussed at the meeting.

Besides that, the army chief also briefed PM Shehbaz about the situation on the country’s frontiers as well as professional matters.  

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had yesterday (Thursday, February 23, 2023) convened the apex committee’s meeting to receive briefing from the army’s high command about the anti-terrorism operations being carried out in the country.
