The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has rejected the rumours of oil and diesel shortage in the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Ogra spokesperson Imran Ghaznavi on Tuesday said that there was enough stock of oil and diesel in the country, quashing the speculations about fuel shortage.

He went on to say that the available stock of petrol and diesel in the country was enough for the needs of 18 and 37 days, respectively.

Ships loaded with 101,000 matric ton petrol have already been berthed, he added.

The spokesperson said that the local refineries were very actively playing their role in fulfilling demand for the petroleum products in the country.
