Galaxy S26 leak highlights major storage upgrade and colour options

Leaks surrounding Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup are gaining momentum as the expected launch draws closer, with the latest information shedding light on key specifications across all three models — including a notable upgrade that will please many buyers.

According to details reportedly leaked by a Finland-based retailer, Samsung is set to introduce a long-awaited storage boost across the Galaxy S26 series. The base Galaxy S26 is expected to come with 256GB of storage as standard, a significant upgrade from the 128GB offered on the entry-level Galaxy S25. If accurate, this would suggest Samsung is discontinuing the 128GB option entirely for the new lineup.

The Galaxy S26 is said to be available in Black, White, Sky Blue, and Cobalt Violet. The Galaxy S26+ will reportedly share the same color choices and also offer 256GB of storage by default, with an option to upgrade to 512GB for an additional cost.

For the premium Galaxy S26 Ultra, the retailer lists the same four colors, although earlier leaks have hinted at additional finishes such as Silver Shadow and even Orange. As Samsung often varies color availability by region, the listed options may be specific to the Finnish market.

Samsung has yet to officially announce the Galaxy S26 series, but industry reports suggest the lineup could be unveiled at a Galaxy Unpacked event on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco.
