Nepra reserves decision on govt’s power tariff hike petition

The Nepra has reserved its decision after hearing the government petition seeking up to Rs7.50 per unit hike in the basic tariff of electricity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The hearing on the increase in the price of electricity up to Rs7.50 per unit was completed on Monday. The regulatory authority reserved its decision.

Nepra will review the details and send its decision to the federal government.

After it, the federal government will issue a notification for the increase in the electricity price.
