Overall inflation reaches 28.05 pc last week

The Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) has released its weekly inflation report, the overall rate of inflation in the country has reached 28.05 per cent after witnessing an increase of 1.01 percent in the last week, reported 24NewsHD TV on Friday.
According to report, the prices for 32 items rose during the last week.
In one week, the price of onion has gone up by Rs4.9. The price of Dal Moong became more expensive by Rs9.2.
As per statistics, the price of cooking oil (5 liters) has increased by Rs122 to reach Rs2770.
In a week, the price of a 20kg bag of flour popped by Rs24.89 and the price of milk has surged by Rs2.3.
The price of Dal Mash has risen from Rs12.77 per kg, according to the Bureau of Statistics.
According to statistics, the price of eggs has also witnessed hike by Rs7.19, per dozen and the piece of branded ghee has also increased by Rs21 per kg.
The price of Dal Masoor has risen by Rs11 per kg, according to the statistics agency.
Meanwhile, in the recent week, prices of four items were decreased and 15 items remained stable.
